Track is simply amazing. Tight, technical, and a lot of very sharp turns that requires extremely smooth throttle and steering inputs. Turn 1 is a wide 90+ degrees right turn that really allows you to open up and throttle in way early. With a low HP car, I am at full throttle right after turn in and can carry sh*t load of speed to turn 2. Super-late-apex turn two right, let the car carry out to mid track, pause for a split second, then turn towards the EXIT cone at turn 3 left and just sling-shot the car straight out through a short straight (I run out of 3rd here), slight right kink (light tap of the brake, turn in) then squeeze on the brake full to drop anchor for turn 4 left...What Darren Young calls the "toilet bowl". Downshift to 2nd, full throttle out to passing zone 1 (very short), up shift to 3rd, squeeze in brakes and downshift at the end for a very tight, increasing radius turn 5 onto the back straight. I would run out of RPM by the end of the 2nd turn in cone on the left and upshift to 3rd, straight-line to the right tall cone marking the end of passing zone and turn into the small left hand kink before a long right sweeper marking turn 6-7. Brake in a straight line, turn
right and hold a constant arc, pause for a split second as you hit the turn in cone to settle suspension, late-apex left turn 7, full throttle out and hold the steering again at a constant arc, allow the car to track all the way out to the far right, touch the turn-in cone and carry the car back into right turn 8, a short esse. Day one I was tapping the brakes a little bit here, day 2 I'm doing a slight lift and turn and straight line out of the esse...I was going SO freakin' fast here, this is the place where I catch most people and pass them since a passing zone is coming up. At times I was going so fast I was afraid that the car would just slide right off the track into the "parking lot" but time and time again the car responded and did exactly what it was told to do. From turn 6 on it's all new on the track, so the surface was really slippery and I can feel the car wiggle a little bit on day two, when my instructor told me to turn DSC off. :)
Right turn 9 is another hairpin, and as you get out of the esses make sure you get your suspension settled, dial the car back toward the turn-in cone and brake HARD. By the afternoon in day 2 I was downshifting into 2nd here as well, and really catching people as we come onto passing zone number 3. Light tap of the brakes for right turn 10, carry the car out a little, hold smooth and constant arc, squeeze the brakes lightly and turn left for 11, brake immediately in a straight line at where a little white bald spot is on the ground, turn in right and hold a nice arc, touch the apex on 11, track out to 2/3rds left of track and aim for turn in cone 1 for 12,
lightly squeeze the brakes, turn left and hold for one long left arc'ing 180 degree turn, hold the car ~2/3rds track right, turn in very late on 13, park the car parallel and touch the rumble strip on the left, turn right and ride up on the burms to touch the apex cone for 14 and straight line onto the front straights. Quick peak at my gauge indicates a top speed of ~95 on my fastest run (ran out of 3rd, upshifted to 4th).
