It's been there a LONG time.

Based on the steering wheel style, it is a post 6/00 production. That means crappy steering. That's the only reason I haven't checked it out.

And, no, we're not really considering a wagon that small right now. The idea (for now) is to keep the 'vert and add a cheap used wagon (<$15K). VW Passat, Saab 9-5 and Volvo V70 wagons (w/5-spds) are the current list of likely suspects.

We got an off-lease 323iT 5-speed last week, and I instantly thought of you and your search for a family wagon (geesh.. you've been talking about this for a while now, haven't you?)

Unfortunately (fortunately, for us), we are not the originating dealer, so we don't have to buy it, and it's likely going back to BMW soon.
