Not sure why I'm posting it here... :) I'm going to miss this car, but I'm ready to move on to something a bit different.

Obsessively maintained 2000 Boxster S. Rare full leather interior: leather dash, door panels, armrests, roll bars, seats and seatbacks, more. New top with glass rear window and defroster. Full 3M StonGard paint protection film installed. M030 sport suspension. Windstop, rear speaker / storage compartment. Yellow contrasting stitching on seats and doors and factory silver trim. Xenon headlamps and factory clear taillights and clear side-marker lights. Full maintenance records since purchase including receipts. Blackstone oil analysis on every oil change. Only Mobil 1 oil used with new Porsche filters. Many typical Porsche problematic parts replaced with new versions as preventive maintenance. Front tires new, rear tires good, and will include extra pair. Recent alignment. No leaks, no smoke, no issues and no stories. This car looks and drives as new. I will include what extra maintenance parts and accessories I have with the sale of the car.

This car is beautiful.

Put it on ebay, given the time of year your going to have a lot more attention on ebay plus it might not be convertible season on the Northeast coast but ebay opens that up to so many states that are convertible season year round ...

It will cost you about $60 to put it up on ebay and another $50 or so if it sells ... no joke the car will be sold within a week or two if you are reasonable on the price.

I've sold at least 8 to 10 cars on ebay, if you need advice feel free to pm me. Heck I just sold my friends 03 Lancer evo on it about 2 months ago and it was sold on the 4th day and on the 8th day it was picked up and paid for.

Thanks. I'm considering the eBay thing. I just really don't trust eBay for large value transactions. I suppose it may be worth it though. The dollar value I'm asking is the KBB "Good" value. I think it's a fair price. Just depends on whether anyone else agrees I suppose.

Looks like eBay has new fees for automotive auctions. No insertion fee, and you only pay if the car sells.

Are you guys mistyping stuff? As of right now (11:30pm EDT) that phrase only brings up 15 results, and the car is one of them.

I don't have an issue with the search either. But regardless, the listing number is: 260296113392

I don't know.....

But I was not doing a 'search' as such but drilling down via the ebay motors model selection screens.....
Make, model, year... and so on.

This time it came up.... Oh well.... :)

Good luck.

Same for me, yesterday's search didn't turn it up. I saw it with the item number. Good luck!

I'd be tempted if I were looking for a sports car (say if it were summer of 06).

When you first list a car on ebay it does not always show up until a few hours later which is why it might not have shown up for you.

Awesome Awesome awesome ebay ad !!!!

You did an incredible job listing your car, seriously ... some people list too little info, you listed plenty ... pics are great and the listing reads honest and straight forward ...

I am surprised if this is your first auto listing because it you did a great job.

Plus look at all the bids you have gotten already ... good luck with the sale !!

I noticed the eBay auction ended but the reserve was not met. I assume you haven't sold it? :dunno:

John V

Not sold. I have a couple people coming to see it this week. The eBay ad seemed to serve its purpose, generating a decent amount of off-eBay interest. We'll see, I guess. If I have to keep it until next spring that's fine.

$20,900 takes it home. I haven't driven it in three weeks :( Still just under 52,000 miles.

11 months? Doesn't that mean you're way overdue for a new car?

My wife would chop my balls off if I traded for another new car. ;)

Seriously, though, I'm currently very happy with the vehicles we own. Which is good, because nothing else out there really interests me right now.

1) It's not a "new" car.

2) How many kids do you have? Are you sure that you still need your balls?

I suspect it still won't sell in this economy at this price, and this is the lowest I'll go. That means I'm keeping it until the spring, at which point the price will go back up or I'll just decide to keep it long-term.

That sounds like a good decision.

Three. And that's plenty. And I don't need my balls, so the choices are to get clipped, or never have sex again. My wife chose the second option, to never have sex again. :)
