I got an invitation last week to attend the BMW Precision Driving Experience in Atlanta. Here is the link to BMW's Page:

I called them this week and made my reservation for 19November2003 for the 3-Series Class. I was told in Atlanta that only the 3-Series and Z4 Class will be offered. They are the same course, just different cars and both models are, unfortunately, Slushies.

Anyone else get an invitation?

Wow, you lucky dog. I wish I could go to one of those, well I wish I was at least close enough to do it.

I will have a better impression once I get there. I cannot get a feel for what this is really about.

I do think it is cool, but question why so few locations were chosen. I also wonder why Atlanta only offers the 3-Series and Z4 Class when the other cities have many more choices. I suppose it could be concerns over the space they found to host the event, but that seems unlikely.

At any rate, I was pretty excited to find the invitation in my Mailbox. Plus, I get to take one guest and my wife may actually go with me.

I also got the invite for the Atlanta one...

I'm going on Sun the 16th... Signed up for the Z4 (haven't driven one yet, figured I'd try something different).

I did the Ultimate Driving Experience a couple years ago -- this sounds like the same thing, just without the Comen (sp?) Foundation test drive event (which seams to have morphed into more of a dealer-based event)...
