I know you were concerned about the paint fading near the stripes. How did it look after having them taken off? Can you tell where they were?
Looking sharp!!

It was a little whiter where the strips once where, but once I clayed it, and polished the fenders there is no evidence that they were ever there. Downside, I had to clay the entire car and polish it. I still have the hood, roof, trunk, and bumpers to do and then I will throw a coat of wax over it.
BTW, I'm getting too old to do all this detailing. It wears me out.
Hah. I looked for the stripes, but the one on the front bumber is still there and I wasn't sure if there ever was a stripe on the right fender. I remember a picture of the left fender . . .
You talked about the steering wheel. Took a stab. :)
It continues to look amazing.
It continues to look amazing.
Thank you.
Rain is in the forecast for the next 5 days  , so it won't be coming out of the garage anytime soon.

You still suck. That's what's important. ;)

You still suck. That's what's important. ;)If you'd like to suck a bit more yourself (or not, or whatever), you could acquire an E30 M3 of your own. ;)
I mean, it might cost you a semester or two, but....

 The car hasn't moved in maybe 3 weeks. Sitting under it's car cover with 2 containers of Damp Rid and a bag of Griot's 'Stinky Be Gone' in it.
Just got classic car insurance on it last week and you only can put 2500 miles on it annually.

I'm looking more at two-wheeled means of suckage for my next move. ;)
What is so stinky inside that you need Stinky-Be-Gone?

I have that stipulation on the 2002 I insure via Hagerty. They do not verify mileage as it turns out. However, the company I insured it with previously did require odometer values each year....
Yeah. Like it really matters. On my car, I could have a second instrument cluster I 'use' and the one original to the car I 'show'.
There's also the no commute or use as a 'spare' car requirements. This is in addition to a locked garage to house it in. Then again, for $100 a year, the rates are not bad for stated value coverage.

Hagerty is who we went with, but it is quite a bit more than $100 a year. mainly because of the stated value.

Yeah, funny how that works. :D
Then again, if I get that CS, it's stated value would be higher as well. That reminds me.... I gotta get going on what I'm going to do wrt the car I looked at..... Too much to do and too little time to do it.
Heck - It's 11:15pm and I gotta get up @ 4:30am for work.... :? Yikes!
Time to sign off.....
