I have to confess that it looked REALLY good. Way betterf in person than it does in the pictures.
...too bad it's an SLK.

...too bad it's an SLK.Actually, I've seen more Crossfires around town than I have RX-8s.
You just got your first look at a Crossfire today
Kind of neat looking in SRT-6 form.

There aren't any of them in my area. The one I saw was in PGC. :p

There's one that parks at the lab. Pretty underwhelming; it looks like a takeoff on the M coupe, only with more garish grilles and an odder butt.

I've seen them all up and down 355 from Friendship Heights to Gaithersburg.

they're strange looking. not in a Hooydonk-strange way, but some retro-metropolitan way.
neat idea, but why use that stupid german supercharged engine when they can drop in a him-ee v8?
(methinks they get creamed on residuals).
since the 2nd generation SLK is the car we all want it to be, i.e. aimed at aggressive male drivers, the crossfire is going to be relegated to celine dion types, no?
(am trying hard to bait r'gal).
They're not common, but I've seen a few of them around here. I agree -- not bad-looking at all, but not quite up to the level of performance I'd want in it. I'm sure that will change, only at a price point too high to keep me interested.
