View Full Version : Autocrossing article in the Washington Post
Great. Now the events are going to fill up even quicker...

Maybe positive exposure will lead to more lots?
EDIT:
You know what's weird? My first autocross, back in 1996, I did in a Mustang GT. And I got beat by a Cavalier wagon.

What is it with places that make you register to view thier content

Exactly, very annoying.
Would someone copy and paste the thing?
Must now run from the copyright police.

Someone cavalierly violated copyright protections in my corresponding thread over at the 'fest.

I thought about it.
I'm curious as to whether the article will actually affect registration for local events. I mean, we have enough problems as it is dealing with demand during the season. I hope that it bolsters the image of the sport; while those of us who are regular participants understand why we do what we do, there are tons of others who can't figure out why we like driving around big parking lots every other weekend.

Funny how this story was published out here just recently (like yesterday/Thursday).....
Seattle Times Story (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2001897744_nwwracing08.html)
I finally read the article. I like it. I'm glad the author did his best to understand the sport and our enthusiasm for it; it's clear to me that he gets it.
