Finally found a local independent mechanic I trust close to Philly now that I am out of warranty and this is the loaner he gave me this morning, how cool is that? 635csi

I don't think the dealer gives out these kind of loaners.

It almost makes you want to have your car break....
Well, almost.
:D
It's pretty slick that he does that.

I found his name by searching through Roadfly and the Fest. Michael Yaskin at Bavarian Specialties. I payed him a visit and found that he caters to a lot of enthusiasts in the area of King of Prussia and Philadelphia. The loaner thing was an unexpected pleasant add-on.
I still have to ask him if this car is a German model, because everything on the dash is in Deutsch: Bremlicht, Rücklicht, Waschwasser, Warnblinker... but the speedo is only in MPH :?:

Seems that way. This is my first service visit and so far he seems like a no-BS kinda guy, which is why I am avoiding the dealer like the plague now that everything is coming out of my pocket $.
That is one hell of a loaner. I don't know that I'd ever have that policy unless the customer was a personal friend!
