Chrysler 300C in C/D

Damn.

0-60 in 5.3 seconds. 1/4 mile in 13.9 at 102. That's quick, especially for a 4100 lb full-size sedan with a slushbox.

Of course, the 300C has a couple of big disadvantages, like the 4100 lb curb weight, the lack of a manual, and a traction control system that doesn't disengage. But it's intriguing.

I've seen one on the streets around my home. Caught me totally off guard the first time I saw it from behind; the second time, I was still surprised but at least ready for it.

I don't like the way it looks. The overall shape is nice enough, but the headlights are futt buggly IMO. Taillights aren't bad but incongruous with the weird front treatment. This is pretty much in line with my impressions at NAIAS.

Of course, with acceleration numbers like that, the only thing we're likely to see are those decent taillights. Impressive.
