Is anyone familiar with how automakers end up aligned with a given satellite radio vendor (XM or Sirius)?

Voodoo.

Actually, Sirius marketed itself as a more mature, upscale service for the discerning listener. MB and BMW went for it. Unfortunately.

I've never checked out their programming options in any detail, their weaker suscriber base (compared with XM) made me reluctant to invest in any hardware. Also, since I've got NAV they are not an OEM option for me anyway.

My current thinking is that I can mount the XM Roady (http://www.xmradio.com/roady/) pretty cleanly in the euro tray of my center console.

I'm going to get the new Terk XM Commander as soon as Blitzsafe releases an adaptor. (They claim next week.)

I guess they've given up on the upscale image.
