Just wondering...been thinking about it.

I always have this notion that corner balancing is purely for track application. Afterall, driving 15mins to the nearby Traders Joe doesn't really require the car to be corner balanced. Also given that despite the car is balanced, the specs will change as the weeks go by due to, well, tire wear, me eating more meat in one week and more vegetables in another, transporting furnitures from Ikea etc. And during such occasions, it doesn't really matter if the car is corner-balanced or not...

Not to mention that the process costs at least $200.00.

What do you all think?

No, it's nice if you are at a hig level of driving ability but ultimately I don't think it's necessary. Plus many factors can knock it out of kilter.

Race cars, yes street cars no.

I instruct and I don't corner balance my car.

Andrew, usually, cost of cornering balancing include alignment as well. So it does go over $200.

Of course not, if it was, BMWs would handle like shit from the factory.

It's just ideal, that's all.

I think the dealer here charge $200 (or $300) for a basic alignment... ouch...
