This looks to be a cream puff. But is, alas SMG. I do love the Imola.

Love Imola in the convertible, would be happy with any of the three E46's in that color: M3, ZHP, or 330Ci

Not sure about the SMG, though.

yeah I think I have mentioned before but I don’t get all you guys fascination with convertibles. Must be a east coast weather thing? :dunno:

I grew up with a convertible. I learned to drive in a VW Thing. Crazy car. But driving through the windy roads of Rock Creek Park was a formative experience. I actually feel claustrophobic in hardtop cars when it's a beautiful day--no matter how "panoramic" the roof is.

..when it's a beautiful day...

that why I was saying it is a weather thing. Coastal southern California is almost always convertible weather :dunno:

Atlanta is pretty moderate, too. Except in the summer.

Nice low mileage, if you're looking for a convertible SMG. The used market still has plenty of convertibles, SMGs, and convertible SMGs. The manual coupes are getting scarce out there; in the two months since I bought mine, I've yet to see one for sale within 250 miles of me.

I disliked convertibles, too - until I bought one. It's like having two cars: a nice snug coupe and when you drop the top, a whole different experience that makes even a mundane drive something to look forward to.

Modern convertibles are built really well so you don't give up much.

Here in the NE, within a month or so, will be dropping the top and I'll drive it mostly top down into the late fall.
