What do I do now? Call junk yards?
The cracks have been there for a while but weren't growing. But the horizontal split just happened yesterday and is tearing fast. It's starting to get embarrassing riding around in this thing.

And yeah I know it's dirty. :p

EDIT:
Dude. Buy a new car.
Actually, have you heard of Fibrenew?
http://www.fibrenew.com/
A good friend of mine recently started a Fibrenew franchise in NC. His photos are amazing -- high-quality, color-matched repairs that are basically invisible. I don't know about cost but it probably beats buying a replacement seat.
I would, however, start by cleaning those things. :D

Thanks Blee! I need someone to fix a tear in the Volvo seats. All I could think of were those infomercials from the 80s that you spread on some gunk and take a hairdryer to it and presto! good as new!

Okay, I have a story.
When I was 20 or so and living with my parents in San Diego, my dad one day bought a set of sheepskin seatcovers that he got a fantastic deal on for his Mitsubishi Galant. Well, the reason he got such such a "fantastic deal" on them was they stunk like fucking I don't even know what, but I know they smelled awful. My dad thought they would stop smelling with a little time.
A month later, they were just as bad as day one.
Then, my dad had to go to Georgia for a week for some work training. I was going to drive him to the airport at oh dark thirty in the morning, so he left his packed bag by the door the night before the flight.
While he was sleeping, I removed the seat covers from the car and packed them in his bag. About seven hours after I dropped him off at the airport, I was awoken by a ringing phone. I answered. I heard a very angry voice say, "You asshole." Click.
Matt, it's time for a new car.
"You asshole." Click.

I'm certain you could find something better than your e46. You should get a Golf R probably.

Within 2 weeks of scouring ebay and Craigslist, you'll find a set of heated power leather e46 seats in the same color in good shape and probably cheaper than the repair guy
