I'm also curious. Cell coverage at my house is lousy.

Ours is decent outside, but the entire house is covered in 6"+ thick stone that totally kills signal inside.

I have terrible coverage at home, both for my work AT&T and my personal Verizon, they drop all the time. I'd be happy to pay shipping or picking up in person.

Ours is inside and out, sadly. I go up to the third floor if I need to make a voice call.

Try living in a stucco house with a chicken-wire lattice on all exterior walls… Made worse by having a heat barrier (i.e. metal lining) on the interior side of the roof sheeting.

I get decent coverage in our family room since it has a large window that faces the Saguaro-shaped cell tower in the neighborhood, but calls can drop in our kitchen and garage. Before the Saguaro was put in, coverage was terrible -- 1 bar was typical anywhere in the house.

Cool ... I'm glad someone wants it, just sent you a pm, don't worry about the shipping costs I'm just happy someone can use it.

To answer the other questions ... It does work, if I remember correctly there is a slight delay when placing or answering a call(a little annoying) but when I had AT & T back in the iPhone 4 days when you couldn't use Verizon with an iPhone AT & T would give you this so your phone worked.

As soon as Verizon became available for the iPhone I switched and there service works great in my house ...

not to throw a wet towel on AF's free offer, but check the specs on frequencies used by this unit, and your current phones

The awesome amplifiers I had when we were rv'ing full time did not work with 4G and 4glte

I jumped on it (because free!) prior to any research. Now that I've done some reading, it seems that this is intended for a 2-story house or similar. It needs vertical separation between external and internal antennae, and the external antenna needs to be 3ft or more above any metal. I can satisfy neither in my one-floor apartment. So on to the next "bidder"... Thanks again, AF!

Also be aware that there are can be some registration issues with these devices.

I was wondering about that too.

I vaguely remember having to register it with AT & T and it not being a big deal.

Anyway it is up for grabs if someone wants it just let me know.
