Lotus Elan

The newer 90s version that totally does not look like a fancied up Mercury Capri vert. I guess it didn't do too well here because of the Miata.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I saw one a few months back and liked it. Does anyone know anything other than what is on its Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Elan) page?

Not good cars. Decent chassis, but FWD. Isuzu engine. Typical 90's lotus, one step above a kit car.

I haven't seen one in years. Agree that they should be avoided.

My neighbor when I was a kid had an original Elan. Gorgeous...
