That's a cool idea. :cool: And it doesn't add any weight to the car.

Why? The navigation system can make up it's own directions - that's what it's for. I suppose the benefit is using a keyboard instead of an i-drive like interface. Seems like the answer to a question nobody asked to me.

If I was planning a trip somewhere, I'd rather do the mapping from the comfort of my home office, rather than while sitting in a car. Or worse, while driving.

That's a cool idea. :cool: And it doesn't add any weight to the car.

And you only have to tell google where you're coming from and where you're going.

what's the problem with entering an address and saying "go there" again?

Many OE nav units won't let you do much more than zoom in/out and replay the last direction while the vehicle is in motion anyway...
