A car that small needs a power liftgate? :?

My idea of a better solution: I think vehicles with a liftgate should be manually operated, and the car comes with a set of dumbells used to pump up the owner's arms. ;)

My wife loved that about the E-wagon. But it just became a std feature in '07, I beleive. It used to be optional.
