After 21,000 miles the crappy ass runflats on the e90 are ready to be replaced. I'm looking to get a set of summer tires and wheels, and a set of winter tires and wheels.

Any suggestions? Our lease is up in a year and a half, and I wouldn't be surprised if they next vehicle is an e90 (maybe e91). I'm assuming whatever we get now would fit the next car.

I've been trying to check out Tire Rack, but it's been incredibly slow today.

The PS2's have been nothing short of spectacular, but they were very pricey. I don't mind because I don't drive my car all that much and wanted good tires for when I did. But if I were commuting long distances I would have bought cheaper tires.

I've always been impressed with Bridgestone RE-050's (and 040's). Of course, I don't have extensive experience with tires beyond what I've used in my daily driving, so my opinion may be useless.

If I was going to mount non-RFTs on my E90 I would purchase the PS2s. Michelins are the only tire that I have been truly happy with.

As for the wheels, E46 M3 wheels fit and can be had pretty cheap. You have to use a 12mm spacer up front if you want to run 245s, but I understand that 225s will fit w/o the spacer. I think they look reasonably good on an E90.
