That's a lot of miles.

Price feels high for a car so well used, even a 911 TT.

Yeah. I'm not sure how to value a car like that with that many miles, but I'd say the price is about double what I'd be willing to pay. Maybe a little more. Perhaps if the records show recent major service action (like an engine rebuild? New clutch? New bushings/bearings/shocks?), but even then...jesus, 200K miles is a LOT of miles.

Was this guy using this thing as a cab?

This is not the first time I've heard of a TT with 200k miles that allegedly runs like a top. But yeah, that's a lot of miles. That's starts getting to the point where pumps and other components start going. You'd hope that cost includes a reasonable rebuild (timing chains, etc).

My car has 91k miles and I think if I had to put it in the market, without thinking about it too much, I'd ask $55k for it given the desirable config and incident-free history.

When I bought my car 2.5 years ago, it having 86k miles seemed crazy for 997TT. High mileage samples were 60k miles. Now you see a bunch of 60k cars and some 80k cars.

I know there was a decent value drop on the 997 I got last year with what was considered high mileage (85k then, 95k now). I am expecting 'good things' from the main drivetrain items - but am expecting to have to mess with other items like seat, window, suspension and things like that... and those can be some $$$. Who knows what will happen though. But - yeah - north of 200k in a car like this - WOW. The asking price does seem a bit high.

That's a silly price. I'd buy a 996TT low mileage for $40's to 50k. Yes, 997 interior/exterior is much, much better. But I'm not paying that much for the essentially the same engine.

Down to $49.5k.

Clearly owner is getting "punished" for truly going hardcore.
