Not sure how this was missed.

Co-designed by Honda and MUGEN, the Civic MUGEN Si Sedan draws inspiration from a "Formula Sport" concept, adding an aggressive dimension of performance to the Civic Si Sedan with a Twin Ring Motegi track-tuned suspension, aerodynamic body styling and a performance exhaust system. The suspension lowers the vehicle by 15 mm with highly aggressive spring and damper tuning for enhanced handling performance. The full-vehicle aero-package adds a front spoiler and sports grille, side spoilers, a rear diffuser and an adjustable rear wing. The lightweight, MUGEN forged aluminum wheels measure 18 x 7.5 inches and include high-grip summer tires (215/40R18). Available in 2007, Honda will produce a limited release of 1,000 MUGEN Si sedans, which will carry an under-$30K pricetag.

I wouldn't mind having the suspension + wheel/tire package, and just do without the silly spoilers and ground effects. I get the feeling that it's going to be a bit more pricey than it's worth, though. Give the car some more mid-range power, and I think the package is attractive enough to strongly consider.

First, news of the S2000 CR, and now this. It's nice to see a car company offering some more hardcore options. I just hope they sell well enough to convince Honda to keep offering them.

They kept the new plastic bolt-ons *fairly* subtle, which is good. Still, I'd be looking for a wrench to remove the trunklid spoiler, assuming that the 3rd brake light isn't integrated into it the way it is on mine.

i much prefer the way the standard 4 dr Si looks.

it's got the tires, exhaust and the red Si lettering. i'd be happy if the mugen kit came with more power instead of pricey plastic bits.

Without the big wing, of course.

Esp. since fanbois will just steal all those plastic bits from you the second you leave your car outside overnight.
