with all the electronic crap is doesnt seem like it should be called the widow maker(yeah I know you can turn it off)

That's why people are wrecking 996 GT2/3's left and right.

CGT and 997 GT3 and RS's all have TC.
People are still wrecking them left and right because we have a generation of morons raised without knowing how to deal with simple oversteers because of all the electronic in cars.

Waste of $$ on the technology. It's not like morons that shot their GT3RS ass first into the wall at VIR with TC on would be able to keep this car on the track anyway.

I read his comments as consistent and relating to two separate but somewhat related themes:
1. Lame-ass drivers who don't spend the time and effort learning how do actually drive themselves.
and
2. The waste of money on all the fancey electronics in a car that (should?) be built for actual drivers (ones that actually know how to drive) who want to drive the car themselves without a bunch of electronic nannies getting in the way of the experience.
