I'll be there, if you guys sign up put my name down as your referral, I get a free weekend if I can get 5 new people... LOL!

http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/msc.htm

These events are fun, you get 5 run sessions per day instead of just 4 with most other schools, and they are usually MUCH less crowded. I was told there was only 1 green student at their December 2004 event! That's like private track time baby!

They have limited loaners available, free of charge, and they are usually available.

okay, so where do I sign up?

Do I just need to call the number on that website? I didn't see an online registration.

also, jimmy said there's an option to just do 1 day for $150.

True?

print out the sign up form from their site and fax it in. you can also submit online, but I am uneasy submitting my CC info via plaintext HTTP.

and yes, you can do one day for $150. (though I would recommend doing both days for your first or second time.. you would barely learn the lines the first day and start driving faster, and by second day, you will really enjoy it).

this one?

http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/mscmail.htm

So technically I'm joining the MSC club? I don't see the option for one day/$150.

Are you planning on staying somewhere out there, or driving back to Austin on Saturday and then back out to CS Sunday morning?

ayn

that's the one, I used their printable form: http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/mscmail_print.htm

yeah, you're joining the MSC, whatever that means. LOL... there is no option for $150 on the form, but you can just write it down there. You can email Rusty at that email address to make sure he knows about that.

I usually drive back and out there again Sunday morning.

You can always rent one of their Miata's and drive it there! I think they are $250 for the weekend, that is a pretty good deal. Especially for Nate, the tires alone he'll use up will be more than $250. :D

Hey, will the Elise be in by then?

Though, a drive in the M3 might convince me

the Elise won't be here until August probably.

And, if I go (which I probably will), it will be in the Cooper S.

that was Brad's RX7, check bradbarber.com. My instructor had an RX7 also, also a yellow one. But her engine was blown and is waiting for new engine install... the new engine is in her garage...

Got back from TWS, man, it was a blast. It rained today but the track dried out amazingly fast, it was only wet for one of my SIX sessions. A lot of ppl left on Sunday afternoon and they let us Blue students to run with yellow and white so we got done at 4pm. I was home by 6...

The Italian cars club was there, 5 or 6 Lambos showed up, they made the Ferrari's looked ordinary. That blue Murciélago spun and I passed him, LOL! It was cool running with Lambos at the track! Most of those guys didn't really know how to drive though, not sure why there were in my run group.
