As JST has said, prices of air-cooled 911s are crazy right now.

But 2.5x original sticker for an 18 year old car is ridiculous. Its pretty obvious someone bought it to put it in a bubble (1k miles in 18 years!) in the hopes that one of the last air-cooled 911s would appreciate over time. Odd investment choice...
