Man this is a great price!

If prices for these things keep falling like this, you might be able to get a really nice 06 in a couple years for mid 30's.

For some reason, the roadster in Imola actually triggers a bit of desire.

I still have to drive one, but if in '09 the M roadster is THAT much cheaper than a 987S, I may consider it.

Yeah, it makes me yearn a little also, but for a M coupe!

Prices dont seem to be as effected for those compared to the roadster.

It sure is a great deal.

I took advantage of a killer 28 month lease they had running in November combined with employee discounts and a $1500 market allowance and ended up with a steal. ($300 per month).

At the end of the lease, I'll either turn it in and have no complaints because it ultimately didn't cost me much drive, or I'll buy it for the dealer payoff (Manheim Market) which should be way, way below my $40,000 residual.

70% residual, .00008 rate (yes, 4 zero's), and sale price that was about $4000 below invoice... ;)

you can probably find a few new left-over '06's that are still out there at good prices, but the problem is that BMWFS no longer has lease support on them. I got lucky to buy at just the right time, when they were already desperate to move it but BMWFS was still in the picture with good lease programs.
